We are driven by our passion for working towards and contributing to a safer traffic environment for all participants. RheoLight helps increase the contrast between objects and its surroundings, similar to how daytime running lights (DRLs) work.

RheoLight Crystal Glass Pigments are designed to increase visibility for the human eye, LiDAR and computer vision, while maintaining the integrity of design and appearance.

Rheolight aims to provide a contribution to the United Nations’ Global Plan setting out to achieve the target to reduce road traffic deaths and injuries by 50% by 2030.

Application of RheoLight in coatings of objects and vehicles is considered to contribute to the increased visibility and thus safety of traffic participants.

The metallic grey Vespa with RheoLight boosts LiDAR results up to 140 times. Computer Vision YOLO* object detection improves from 73% to 94%. In dark & silver metallic color formulations, a low percentage of RheoLight increases LiDAR recognition.
